About Akoma Coffee

"My name is Achille Massoma, and coffee has been in my family for three generations.

It begins with my grandparents, who cultivated coffee and cocoa in Manjo, Cameroon — tending their land with care, patience, and a deep respect for what the earth provides. I grew up understanding that a great cup of coffee starts in the soil.

The volcanic highlands of Cameroon's West, Northwest, and Southwest regions are some of the most extraordinary growing lands in the world. Rich in minerals, nourished by rain, and worked by families who have farmed them for generations — these lands yield coffee with genuine character, depth, and elegance.

 

When I founded Akoma Coffee, I made a commitment: no synthetic pesticides, no artificial processing, no shortcuts. Just clean, carefully grown coffee, roasted fresh in small batches, with fair prices paid to every family farm we work with.

 

Every bag of Akoma is a tribute to Cameroon's land and people — and an invitation to slow down, connect, and savor something real."
